Dusek : Hello everyone, Frank Dusek and to my right is my broadcast partner, the legendary Bruno Sammartino and it is our pleasure to be here tonight for the Mid-South Wrestling portion of WrestleRama! Bruno I know I'm ready for the action, are you?
Bruno : You know it Frank, I can hardly wait. It's nights like these that make me wish I was still an active competitor, but I am doing the next best thing,and I have the best seat in the house.
Dusek : Indeed you do champ, let's get to the ring for our first match.
Dusek : Here comes Ellering and his "Mad Dog".
Bruno : There he goes mocking the Junkyard Dog.
Dusek : Well in just a few moments we'll be seeing another Mad Dog, when JYD steps through that curtain.
Dusek : And the crowd erupts here at the Mid-South Arena.
Bruno : They are ready to see the Dog get revenge after months of humiliation at the hands of Buzz Sawyer.
Dusek : JYD showing Sawyer how it's done!
Bruno : Grizzly Adams is positioned at ringside to make sure nothing gets out of hand, and Magnum is on hand to cheer on his good friend the JD, however I have no idea why Captain Redneck is here.
Dusek : You failed to mention Mid-South majority owner Gen. Skandor Akbar and his top legal counsel.
Bruno : I left them off because they are not worth my breath.
Dusek : The Dog barking away, and he looks ready.
Announcer : Ladies and gentlemen this match is scheduled for 1 fall with a 30 minute time limit, and is a special "Dog Collar Match". In this contest both competitors will be attached at the neck with a Dog Collar and steel chain. The only way to win this match is via pinfall, or submission, there are no Disqualifications.
Announcer : First the manager, he is the ringleader of the Legion of Doom, "Precious" Paul Ellering.
Announcer : From St. Petersburg, Florida, weighing in at 240 pounds, "Mad Dog" Buzz Sawyer.
Dusek : The Mad Dog looks rather subdued here tonight.
Bruno : I think this dog may have bitten off more than he can chew, and now he is concerned.
Announcer : and his opponent, from Charlotte, North Carolina, weighing in at 280 pounds, The Junkyard Dog!
Dusek : The crowd goes insane for the JYD!
Dusek : The Ref explaining the rules now.
Bruno : I do not envy the ref right now.
Dusek : Well he manages to get them both connected to the chain without incident.
Dusek : hey The Mad Dog is running to the ropes to try and avoid JYD.
Bruno : Well one thing you can count on with Sawyer is that he is unpredictable at all times..
Dusek : And the Dog blasts Sawyer with that chain!
Bruno : and it's totally legal.
Dusek : He bounces backup and is met with steel once again!
Dusek : Sawyer seesaws backup again and is this time met with a big headbutt that finally send Sawyer to the arena floor.
Bruno : headfirst!
Dusek : Sawyer surprising recovers quickly, and is getting some advice form Ellering.
Dusek : and oh oh! The Dog is reeling Sawyer in!
Bruno : The Dog is utilizing that chain beautifully.
Dusek : and JYD blasts Sawyer in the head with that chain once again!
Dusek : and he's busted open!
Dusek : JYD with a fist drop full of chain!
Dusek : and the Dog is getting down!
Dusek : and JYD with the crawling headbutt!
Dusek : JYD with another!
Dusek : and one more for good measure!
Bruno : Sawyer looks to be out of it Frank.
Dusek : THUMP!!!!!!
Dusek : The ref notices Ellering on the apron!
Bruno : No, count the fall!
Bruno : I'm sorry Frank, but that ref is not playing with a full deck!
JYD has his man pinned and the ref is jawjacking to the ref.
Dusek : The Dog levels Ellering with the dog collar chain!
Dusek : Ellering has been neutralized.
Dusek : The Dog makes the cover and uses the chain to hook the leg, and gets the 3 count!
Dusek : The Ref signals for the bell.
Dusek : the fans here inside the Mid-South Arena are on their feet for the dog.
Bruno : Today redemption is spelled JYD.
Dusek : Indeed it is champ, as JYD's arm raised up high in victory. I cant help but wonder what's next for the Dog.
Dusek : Hold on folks JYD is not done yet.
Bruno : Looks like JYD is taking back what is rightfully his.
Dusek : and The Junkyard Dog has his dog collar chain back in his possession!
Dusek : And the Top Dog of Mid-South wrestling dispatches Sawyer!
Dusek : The Mad Dog looks like he needs a vet, as he and Ellering head to the back, but inside the ring, the party is underway.
Bruno : What an amazing win for JYD. I knew in my heart that he would prevail, but I did not think he'd make it look so easy.
Dusek : Dance away JYD, this night belongs to you.
Dusek : What a match champ, are you ready for the next match.
Bruno : Am I ready? You know the answer to that Frank. Of course I'm ready, I'm ready to see the Cowboy ride again in the big Cowbell Match.
Dusek : Well let's get to the ring then.
