Mid-South's Portion of WrestleRama Part 2

Announcer : This next contest is scheduled for 1 fall with a 20 minute time limit, and it is a special Cowbell Match. In this match both competitors will be joined at the wrist by a rope with a cowbell attached to it's center. There is no Disqualification in this match, and the only way to win is via pinfall, or submission.






Dusek : Jesus, What's Ellering been feeding this guy, he looks bigger than ever!








Dusek : I know Watts has been out of retirement for a several months now, but I still get goosebumps whenever he comes out to that ring.

Bruno : Does it make you want to step back in there.

Dusek : There is always that thought in the back of my mind champ, but when I look at the size of the monsters inhabiting the locker rooms here in the Mid-South, I become content in my retirement.


Dusek : There you see Magnum TA, whom is here no doubt to support his mentor, Bill Watts.


Bruno : There is that good for nothing snake, and his lousy runt of a lawyer.

Dusek : Ah, you must be speaking of Mid-South Wrestling's majority owner, Gen. Skandor Akbar, whom has a vested interest in this match, since his Devastation Inc group has close ties to Ellering's Legion of Doom.


Dusek : Grizzly Smith is also at ringside once again to make sure there is no funny business.




Announcer : In the white corner, first the manager "Precious" Paul Ellering....


Announcer : hailing from Atlantic City New Jersey, weighing in at 446 pounds, representing the Legion of Doom, King Kong Bundy.


Announcer : and his opponent, from Bixby Oklahoma, weighing in tonight at 278 pounds, the legendary "Cowboy" Bill Watts!

Dusek : The fans erupt for the legendary Watts.


Dusek : The ref giving instructions, and you have got to be wondering whats going on inside the mind of Bill Watts.

Bruno : I know Watts feels that he is invincible in a Cowbell match, but everyone else in this arena and watching at home has got to be wondering if he can do the impossible and defeat this monster.


Dusek : Watts is tied to the rope.




Dusek : Bundy is tied in and here we go!


Dusek : Watts with a right hand.


Dusek : He clotheslines Bundy with the rope.


Dusek : and the monster refuses to go down, so Watts connects with a boot to the well, a boot below the belt!

Bruno : anything goes Frank, and Watts is taking advantage of that.


Dusek : Speaking of taking advantage, Watts blasts Bundy across the forehead with that Cowbell!


Dusek : and the nearly 500 pounder from Atlantic City New Jersey is still standing!

Bruno : he has got to work on Bundy's legs!




Dusek : Watts once again with the Cowbell to Bundy's massive cranium!


Dusek : and he is still standing!

Bruno : I can't believe this...


Dusek : Watts with a crossbody block.


Dusek : Oh no, Bundy caught the 278 pound Cowboy!!!!




Dusek : and he drops down with him to the canvas, and that is 450 pounds coming down onto Watts.

Bruno : this might be over.


Dusek : The ref with the count, 1.....2......


Dusek : and Watt's kicks out!!!


Dusek :and there you see Magnum TA cheering on the Cowboy.


Dusek : Bundy now trying to choke the life out of Watts.

Bruno : The ref trying to get Bundy to stop, but all he can do is ask, because he can not DQ him.


Dusek : Bundy has some choice words for the ref there.




Dusek : Bundy now with a scoop slam on Watts.




Dusek : Bundy now using the cowbell on Watts.


Dusek : Bundy holds that Cowbell high in the air as he taunts the crowd.


Dusek : and Watts is wearing the crimson mask.




Dusek : Bundy with the cowbell to Watts head again!




Dusek : Bundy now tosses Watts over the top rope, and hes trying to hang him for christ's sake!


Dusek : Bundy is trying to end the career of Watts tonight.

Bruno : and he might just succeed in doing it.


Dusek : Miraculously Watts is still on his feet.

Bruno : Thats no miracle, thats just instincts, Watts appears to be out on his feet.


Dusek : Bundy pulling Watts onto the apron.


Dusek : and Watts cracks Bundy in the head with the Cowbell!!!!!!


Dusek : Bundy is dazed and Watts comes off the top rope!

Bruno : That's foreign land for Watts.


Dusek : He connects with a Cowbell shot from the top rope!!!


Dusek : and it comes as no surprise to me that Bundy is still standing.

Bruno : Bundy is also busted open. I'm convinced that this monster is not human.


Dusek : Watt's hits the ropes.






Dusek : He connects with the Bulldog!!!!!


Dusek : Ellering is livid!


Dusek : Watts is rolling Bundy over!!!!


Dusek : Watts with the cover, 1.....2.....


Dusek : Bundy kicks out, and I have never seen anyone kick out of that bulldog from Watts!

Bruno : I told you, he is not human.


Dusek : Watts can not believe this.


Dusek : Watts now on the middle rope.


Dusek : he comes down for a knee drop.


Dusek : and he misses as Bundy moves out of the way.

Bruno : Watts has already got the odds stacked against him, and goes for a high risk, i dont understand that logic.

Dusek : to be fair, you have got to pull out all the stops in a match like this one.


Dusek : Bundy now on his feet.




Dusek : Big Splash!


Dusek : Ellering wants Bundy to finish Watts once and for all, and Bundy lifts the hapless legend off of the canvas.




Dusek : Bundy with yet another vicious shots with the cowbell!

Bruno : The ref should just stop this.


Dusek : Oh my, Bundy now measuring Watts for a move he calls the Atlantic City Avalanche.




Dusek : Dear god!!!






Bruno : Bundy peels Watts from the corner turnbuckles and drops him to the mat in a broken heap.


Dusek : Bundy hits the ropes




Dusek : and a big splash!

Bruno : there is stunned silence here in the arena.




Dusek : 1.....2......


Dusek : 3......


Bruno : wait a minute, he wants a 5 count.


Dusek : 4......


Dusek : Watts kicks out!!! Watts kicks out!!!!

Bruno : Unbelievable!!!!

Dusek : The fans have come back to life here in the Mid-South Arena.


Dusek : Bundy yelling at the ref.

Bruno : He has only himself to blame.


Dusek : now Ellering involved in the argument.


Dusek : Watts is stirring.


Dusek : What's Watt's doing? It looks like he is trying to tie up the legs of Bundy.


Dusek : he did, and he takes him down with a school boy roll up.


Dusek : The ref drops down to make the cover, 1....2....


Dusek : 3!!!!!! Watts has done it!!!!!! Watts has done the impossible!!!!






Dusek : Ellering can not believe it.

Bruno : neither can I Frank, this is amazing.




Dusek : Ellering lambasting the ref.


Dusek : he now turns his attention towards Bundy.


Dusek : Bundy goes after Watts, but he slips out from under the ropes.


Dusek :The Cowboy rides again folks. What a night WrestleRama has been thus far.




Dusek : Watts thanking the fans.

Bruno : Is he waving goodbye to them?

Dusek : Let's hope not, but after what Watts went through tonight, his clock appears to be winding down rapidly.


Dusek : If this was the Cowboy's last hurrah then he sure did make it worthwhile.


Bruno : From the conversations I've had with Watts, I got the impression that win or lose, WrestleRama would be his final match, and if it was then what a hell of a finale Frank.

Dusek : Indeed it was champ.


Dusek : Well folks, the TWA World Tag Title Match is up next. Ellering is 0-2 tonight, but I'm sure that he can reverse his fortunes by going home with the titles that he is convinced belong to the Road Warriors.
